RCKC is involved in numerous research activities to develop "best practices" for our patients. By incorporating evidence-based treatment, we are able to offer our patients state-of-the art chemical dependency treatment.

RCKC is an affiliate of the University of Washington Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship Program. This affiliation provides the agency with the services of UW physicians in our Seattle Detoxification Facility.

RCKC is an active member of the National Institute on Drug Abuse Clinical Trials Network (NIDA CTN). The CTN conducts behavioral and pharmacological multi-site clinical trials to determine the effectiveness of community-based treatment programs. The goal is to transfer research results to providers and their patients in order to improve the quality of chemical dependency treatment and maximize successful treatment outcomes. RCKC is one of eight sites in the Washington Node of the CTN, which is affiliated with the University of Washington. There are currently 17 nodes in the United States.
